We are supporting a Birmingham based M&E building projects and services business in the recruitment of a Bid Manager to support the development of compelling bids for the companies M&E facilities services division.
This a great opportunity to join a successful team boasting a high percentage win rate through successful bid delivery with a business heritage spanning more than 70 years. Typical bids developed are aimed at winning OJEU / public sector contracts in the delivery of M&E maintenance, refurbishments and minor projects. Typical bid values are in the region of £500k to £1.5m.
Duties included are but not limited to:
Writing and developing compelling bid material and business development documentation.
Contributing to material supporting business development online and in print.
To research material, information tenders and PQQs.
Completion of PQQ, ITTs and Approved Contractor Questionnaires.
Monitor public sector portals for new bid opportunities.
In collaboration with Business Development Executives make bid or no bid rulings.
Monitor, maintain and register Company on procurement portals as required.
Work closely with estimating teams ensuring synergy to commercial and pricing within bids.
Where required, support Business Development teams in the presentation of bids to prospect customers.
Occasional travel to other company offices to discuss bids and bid strategies.
To be successful in the role you will ideally have a proven background of public sector Bid Writing / Bid Development within a M&E, facilities management or construction contractor environment however we will consider applicants from other relevant industries. We are looking for creative bid writers with an ability to develop engaging and compelling content while supporting a network of stakeholders.
