The Procurement team of a well recognised financial organised are seeking a Supplier Assurance & Risk Officer to join and support this vital function. This is a highly regulated industry and would ideally suit someone who has worked in a similar industry.
You will have an aptitude to learn and be knowledgeable in areas risk management and possess strong analytical and data driven skills. The focus of the role will be managing third part risk in line with the risk management framework. This involves liaising with heads of department, managing internal reporting processes, evaluating suppliers, evidencing compliance in line with policies and the risk management framework and managing the internal reporting process.
Naturally this role will suit someone with a curious and detailed mindset with the ability to interpret and analyse data in line with the organisations policies and frameworks. As well as having experience in a similar risk management role with knowledge of third party risk being useful but not essential as training and development will be provided.
The organisation is keen to consider various levels of experience which is reflected in the salary banding for this role. Circa £33,500 to £42,500 basic plus benefits.
