Contracts Manager – Major Contracts
To £60k DOE, excellent benefits and working environment, up to 18% total pension.
Due to significant investment in our large commercial team we are now seeking a Contracts Manager to join our procurement function. We manage a spend to the value of over £1bn per year and employ over 10,000 people. This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact across a large stakeholder community adding value to agreements and ensuring delivery from the supply base.
In this particular Contracts Manager role you will be delivering structured contract management activities across a smaller number of suppliers but predominantly in higher value and complex supply agreements. You will be supporting an area of the business that can be described as very operational and an area where many of your stakeholders will be operational engineering management and similar. The content of the contracts you will manage will be varied in category content, a great opportunity to gain a lot of key exposure and really develop the broadness of your procurement category knowledge.
Your mission in this role, is to build fantastic relationships with your stakeholders, earning trust and confidence while ensuring that you are delivering all value possible from all high value, complex supplier agreements. You will be ensuring that the supply base is delivering effective fit for purpose products and services, on time to the required specifications while identifying cost saving opportunities where possible.

What you will need:
Experience in the delivery of procurement contract management in complex or high value agreements.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
Great communicator at all levels.
Ideally MCIPS qualified or working towards this.
Experience of very operational roles or environments would be an advantage.
