We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a dedicated and experienced Registered Social Worker to join a supportive Long-Term Support Team within Children’s Services. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a friendly and dynamic team based in Monmouthshire. The role involves a mix of office-based work at County Hall, Usk, and community-based work across Monmouthshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality social work services within Children’s Services, focusing on long-term support.
• Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support to children and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safeguarding protocols.

Candidate Requirements

• Essential Experience: Recent experience working with Children Looked After (CLA) is mandatory.
• Location: Candidates must reside within a 1-hour commute of NP15 1GA. Applications from candidates living further away will not be considered due to sustainability concerns.
• Qualifications and Documents:
  • Valid Social Care Wales Registration.
  • Current DBS Summary Form.
  • Health Declaration/Questionnaire.
  • CV detailing relevant experience.
  • 5 years of references/work history.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Confidentiality Agreement (to be provided upon offer acceptance).
