We are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Duty and Assessment team in Tameside.
Job Purpose
The Senior Practitioner role is the first step on the management ladder. You will be part of a team led by a Team Manager. You will hold a small caseload of complex cases whilst supporting the Team Manager in improving the service delivery to our cared for children by providing a mentoring and coaching role for social workers and you will deputise for the team manager in chairing meetings and providing management oversight for cases.
You will contribute to ensuring timely care planning for children, achieving this through professional and reflective supervision, supporting staff learning and development and ensuring the production of high quality work to improve the outcomes for our children in Duty and Assessment.
