Vitalis are recruiting for an Accommodation Support worker to work in a team in Manchester City Council.
 
🏡 About the Role
 As a Support Worker, you will:

• Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environmentwhere young adults feel respected and valued.
• Build positive, trusting relationshipswith residents, offering guidance and emotional support.
• Support young people in developing life skillssuch as maintaining a home, understanding rights, maintaining a home, budgeting, and managing appointments.
• Act as a key worker, ensuring care plans are up to date and tailored to individual needs.
• Promote independence and community engagement, encouraging participation in education, employment, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care reviews and team meetings.
• Work collaboratively with external professionals and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Be adaptable and resilient in a dynamic environment, responding calmly to challenging situations.
