The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Sandwell is seeking a committed and capable Maths Teacher to join their department from January 2026 on a full-time, long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering structured lessons that build confidence, fluency, and exam readiness.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing pupils’ work, while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and progress. This position would suit an experienced Maths teacher or an ECT looking to gain long-term classroom experience within a supportive school environment.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
- Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
- Be confident delivering lessons aligned with GCSE outcomes
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Be organised, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
