The Role
A well-regarded secondary school in Solihull is seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from January 2026. This long-term assignment involves teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support strong literacy development and exam preparation.
You’ll take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking, and assessment, while working closely with a supportive English department focused on raising attainment and student confidence.
The Candidate
We’re looking for a passionate English specialist who can inspire students and maintain high classroom standards. You should be:
- A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
- Confident teaching English at KS3 and KS4
- Skilled in delivering engaging lessons in language and literature
- Organised, adaptable, and committed to student progress
- A positive team player with strong classroom management
