The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Tamworth from November 2025. This long-term supply role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ problem-solving skills, confidence, and exam readiness.
You’ll plan and deliver high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to a collaborative Maths department committed to raising achievement. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school environment.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a passionate and reflective Maths specialist who can inspire students to enjoy and succeed in the subject. You should be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
• Confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Committed to maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
• Skilled in differentiating lessons to support all learners
• A team player with excellent communication and classroom management skills
