The Role
We are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Redditch. The role involves supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils stay on task and complete the set work. You will manage classroom behaviour, provide guidance where required, and help maintain a positive learning environment. Assignments are available both on a day-to-day basis and as long-term placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
The Candidate
This role is suitable for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to gain more experience in the classroom. You should be confident in managing groups of students, adaptable across different subjects, and able to maintain a professional and calm presence. Previous school-based experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training and ongoing support are provided. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential.

We work with a variety of secondary schools across Redditch, each with supportive staff teams and well-structured behaviour policies. Cover Supervisors play a key role in maintaining consistency and supporting teaching and learning.
