Children's Social Worker, Case Progression Manager, Rochdale 
Pay rate £46 per hour 
Contract role, Family Support and Protection 
 
We are recruiting for experienced Children’s Social Worker in the Manchester area. 

• The Case Progression Manager reports to the Head of Service for Family Support and Protect. The post holder oversees all case progression, Court and legal processes and the quality assurance of all casework going through private and public law outline proceedings. 

• The Case Progression Manager will be instrumental in ensuring there is no delay in the decision-making journey of our children in Public Law Outline (Pre-Proceedings and Care Proceedings). The Case Progression Manager will ensure that any work entering the Court system is of the required standard and within prescribed timescales. This role is essential in securing the best outcomes for vulnerable children and is responsible for driving best practice in all case work leading to Court proceedings regarding children and their families. 

We are looking for: 

• Family Court experience, including preparation of Statements, giving evidence in Court and ability to work with people from a range of professions. 

• Experience of liaising with other professionals and organisations and working within LA Social Services/Legal Services and Court setting
