💰 £12.37 per hour

Join the finishing team to fettle castings and metal parts prior to paint/machining. Work includes removing gates/risers/flash, grinding and dressing to specification. The role involves noise, vibration and dust — appropriate controls and PPE are provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Grind, trim and de-burr castings to specification and visual standards
• Use hand grinders/linishers and local exhaust ventilation correctly
• Carry out basic visual inspection and complete simple paperwork

Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in fettling, grinding or similar metal finishing
• Good awareness of safe working practices (LEV/RPE, vibration)
• Able to read simple drawings and follow quality requirements
• Strong attention to detail and housekeeping standards
