Job Description

We are working with a well-established company near Gatwick who are looking for an Office Assistant to join their growing team. This newly created role is ideal for an IT-savvy individual eager to develop their administrative experience and build a long-term career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

The Role:
Working closely with the office team, the Office Assistant will provide essential administrative and customer support, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business. Key responsibilities include:
  • Handling incoming calls, dealing with general enquiries, and taking messages
  • Creating paperwork from service schedules for maintenance and recorded defects
  • Maintaining online filing systems and inputting paper records into the in-house CRM
  • Booking skips and supporting operational requirements
  • Assisting with general ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Person Specification:
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Confident and proactive, with a positive mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organised with strong attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player

The Package:
  • Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Starting salary from £26,500 DOE
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), optional overtime, free onsite parking
