Sheridan Maine is seeking a driven and experienced Accounts Manager to join an established and growing accountancy firm in South West London . This is a great opportunity for a qualified professional to take on a senior role managing a varied portfolio of clients while contributing to the firm’s ongoing growth and development.

You will be responsible for overseeing client relationships, reviewing and preparing accounts, and supporting a small team to deliver high-quality work and service.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across various sectors.
  • Review and prepare year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
  • Provide support on tax compliance and planning matters.
  • Oversee junior team members and support their development.
  • Act as a point of contact for client queries and relationship management.
  • Monitor job budgets and ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services or efficiencies.

What we’re looking for:
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting and UK tax.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience managing a team or mentoring junior staff.
  • Proficient in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
