Audit & Accounts Senior

Sheridan Maine is looking for an experienced Audit and Accounts Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy firm in Kent. This is a varied role offering exposure to a broad client base and a balance of audit and accounts responsibilities.

Key responsibilities.

• Lead and manage audit assignments from planning to completion.
• Prepare year-end financial statements for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
• Assist in the preparation of corporation tax returns.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide advice where required.
• Supervise and support junior staff during audits and accounts work.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients to gather information and address queries promptly.
  
  

What we’re looking for.

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or a finalist with relevant experience.
• Solid background in audit and accounts within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
