Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator / Setter to join a leading Engineering business based in Andover. This will be a 4 – 10 week contract with an immediate start date.

CNC Operator Responsibilities:
 

• Perform all functions on the CNC machine including setup, operation and maintenance
• Using the 3/5 axis mills
• Working to tight deadlines and complex customer specifications
• Work closely with other team member to ensure that all work orders are completed on time
• Read and understand technical specifications
• Identify tooling, work holding method and devices for production the components

Requirements:
 

• Previous CNC experience
• Previous experience setting up and operating 3/5 axis mills
• Disciplined approach to manufacturing and component quality
• Self-sufficient and able to work with little supervision
• Experience on Fanuc is desirable
• Ability to understand technical specifications

The CNC Operator / Setter Role:
- Immediate Start
- Based in Andover
- Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm
- £18 - £21 per hour depending on experience
