Quality Controller

Quality Controller needed in Tewkesbury, Paying: £12.25 per hour, Hours: Rotating shifts (06:00–14:30 / 14:00–22:30) Contract: Temp to Perm, full time contact with immediate start for the right candidate. 

Pertemps are recruiting for a Quality Controller to join a well-established manufacturing company in Tewkesbury. This is a hands-on role within final inspection, making sure products meet quality standards before being dispatched.
Main Duties:

• Final inspection of finished products
• Visual and basic dimensional checks
• Recording inspection results and completing paperwork
• Supporting production with in-process checks if issues arise
• Reporting defects or quality concerns to the QA team
• Keeping the work area clean and tidy

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a quality, inspection, or manufacturing role
• Good attention to detail
• Confident carrying out visual inspections
• Basic experience using measuring tools such as verniers or micrometers
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Basic IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Desirable (but not essential):

• Manufacturing or electronics background
• Experience in a regulated or quality-driven environment
• First Article Inspection experience (training can be provided)

Requirements:

• GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade C or above)
• Able to work rotating shifts
• Reliable and able to work under pressure
