An exciting opportunity for an Architect to join a well established practice in Exmouth, (potentially looking at offices in Exeter in the near future). This local practice recently merged with a global multidisciplinary construction company in the last few years.

The design led consultancy which is aggressively expanding offers a range of services from Architectural, through to construction management and planning all while maintaining an excellent staff Retention.

This role would suit an Architect who enjoys the design stages and will be working mainly in residential projects.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage architectural projects from concept through to completion.
  • Produce high quality design and technical drawings in line with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project delivery meets design intent and statutory obligations.
  • Oversee project programmes, budgets, and resources, maintaining efficiency and quality throughout.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and progress reviews, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and visual materials for client and stakeholder meetings.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, sustainability practices, and emerging design technologies.
  • 5 – 10 years post qualification UK based in practice experience
  • Revit software skills is preferred but not mandatory
  • AutoCAD skills
  • Excellent communication skills and work well in a team and independently
  • Previous project sector experience of residential is preferred
