Duration: Weekly- Ongoing

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour

Hours:

Monday to Friday -05:30-12:00 (Corstorphine)

Monday to Friday -05:30-12:30 (Newhaven)

Monday to Friday -14:00-22:00 (Newhaven)

Main Duties:

Ensure all gym areas, including workout zones, reception, changing rooms, showers, and toilets, are kept clean, hygienic, and welcoming for members and visitors.
Carry out regular cleaning tasks such as dusting equipment, wiping down surfaces, and vacuuming or mopping floors to maintain a tidy and safe environment.
Empty bins and sanitary units promptly, ensuring all waste is disposed of according to health and safety and site procedures.
Clean and sanitise toilets, showers, and changing areas thoroughly, with a strong focus on hygiene and attention to detail.
Follow Health & Safety guidelines at all times to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Support the wider team by carrying out additional cleaning tasks as needed, showing flexibility and a proactive attitude.

Key Skills:

Previous professional cleaning experience.
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are consistently maintained.
Good time management skills, with the ability to complete tasks efficiently and independently.
Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment, and how to use them safely and effectively.
Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic and professional attitude.
Good communication skills, especially when interacting with residents, colleagues, or visitors.
