Warehouse Operative

Location: Northampton
Pay Rate: £12.40 per hour
Hours: 8:00am - 5:30pm (flexibility required within these hours)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Northampton. You will play a key role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly, with tasks including picking, packing, loading, and general warehouse duties.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is willing to be flexible with their working hours. You must also be happy to work in refrigerated areas of the warehouse when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading stock as required.
• Carrying out general warehouse duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Working in refrigerated areas as part of daily tasks.
• Following all health & safety procedures.
• Reading and understanding instructions, labels, and paperwork in English to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

• Basic English reading skills essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team.
• Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work in refrigerated areas.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not essential, as full training will be provided.
