General Operative (Temp to Perm) – Halesfield
Location: Halesfield
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Work hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting a General Operative to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Halesfield. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in engineering/manufacturing.

The Role of a General Operative:
You will be working in a busy production environment, carrying out a variety of tasks including:

• Using and setting drills and presses
• Operating machinery (including VMC machines – training provided)
• General workshop and production duties
• Driving the company van as and when required

The Ideal Candidate for this General Operative role:

• Has experience using drills and presses in a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Comfortable with setting machines (or keen to learn)
• Happy to be trained on VMC machines
• Holds a full UK driving licence
• Reliable, hardworking, and looking for a long-term role
