Job Description

Pertemps Manchester are recruiting for both male and female gym cleaners based around the Manchester area, this will be for a variety of shift patterns on an ad-hoc basis. Site locations may vary so you must be willing to travel. This will include both morning and afternoon shift patterns.

The Role: What You'll Be Doing
As a Gym Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring all areas of the gym are spotless and sanitised. Your key responsibilities will include:

Thorough cleaning and sanitising of all gym equipment (weights, cardio machines, benches).
Cleaning and disinfecting changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities.
Mopping, vacuuming, and sweeping all floor areas.
Dusting surfaces, mirrors, and fixtures.
Emptying bins and managing waste removal.
Replenishing essential supplies (toilet paper, soap, hand sanitiser).
Maintaining clean and organised storage areas for cleaning supplies.
Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Reporting any maintenance issues or damage observed.

Trustworthy & Honest: A valued team member who can be relied upon.
Experience (Preferred but not essential): Previous cleaning experience, especially in a commercial or gym setting, is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.
Local to Manchester: Ideally located within easy commuting distance of our gym.
