Port Tug RORO Operatives

Pertemps are recruiting several Port Tug RORO Operatives to join our Client in Portsmouth on a permanent basis, this is an opportunity not to be missed, a fantastic company with a fantastic ethos doing great things in the local area and further afield.

Your role as a Port Tug Operative is to engage in the mooring/unmooring of vessels, the movement of vehicles and passengers through the Port operating plant equipment, including Forklift Trucks, Telehandlers and Tug Masters safely and responsibly.

 

£30,000.00-£31,671.00 per year

 

The successful applicant will need to be available to workdays, evenings, and weekends which will all be done on a rota basis, not all weekends worked

All Candidates must have:

· Valid UK Driving Licence (Max. 6pts)

· Experience in operating Tug Masters (Essential)

· Forklift experience (Essential)

· RORO experience (Desirable)

· Proven previous experience within the maritime / cruise sector preferable in operations

· Resilient with the ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines

· Strong customer service experience and communication skills
