A global automotive group has revealed plans to build a new aluminium casting facility in the West Midlands which will supply the likes of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The investment will create almost 300 jobs.
Magna International will build the production site at T54 in Telford. It is expected to measure approximately 225,000 sq ft and production is scheduled to begin in 2018.
Magna will produce advanced lightweight aluminium castings at the site and said is working closely with JLR on the project.
