Are you an expert in agency or temporary staff spend within an organisation?

Do you have a passion for the healthcare industry and want to genuinely make a difference?

We are currently looking for a Category Manager to open and manage the new temporary staff spend for an dynamic and growing healthcare organisation. Reporting into the Purchasing Director, you will be working alongside a small team and collaborating with other departments to ensure the best results possible.

Your role will include;

• Development and implementation of category strategy

• Data Analytics and creation of category reporting suite

• End to end contract and supplier relationship management

• Development of strong working relationships with sites and key business stakeholders

• Implementation of a business intelligence tool to capture live and projected spend on the category

• Helping drive and promote best procurement practice across the business

You will have;

• Excellent communication and people skills

• Strong working knowledge of commercial contracts

• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail

• An excellent work ethic and an active approach to finding a solutions to challenging scenarios

• A background within indirect procurement, agency spend would be advantageous

• Ability to travel occasionally to other UK sites

• Experience with stakeholder management

• An understanding of hospital management structure and environment (desirable)

As the Category Manager, you will be using your comprehensive knowledge of healthcare to the table as well as your excellent communication skills to develop and implement a strategy that delivers to produce results and quality across the business.

In return, your salary is dependent on experience but will be based between £45,000 - £55,000 + additional benefits such as a comprehensive pension scheme, 25 days annual leave and retail discounts.
