Our client are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and talented sales and marketing professional for the role of Regional Director Admissions & Marketing (RDAM) to drive enrolment growth across their China International operations.
This is a key leadership role and acts as strategic and operational leader in driving admissions, marketing and communications in their international portfolio in China and influences the development and execution of admissions and marketing activities.
Your remit will span one of the largest regions across the organisation. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, you will sit on the Senior Leadership Team which is a group of just over 90 senior leaders across an organisational population of over 9,000.
Together with the Regional Head of Marketing you will be responsible for the management of the entire enrolment pipeline, maximizing business opportunities through effective communications, marketing and sales practice.
Responsible for leading, developing and implementing the growth strategy that ensures continual attraction, enrolment and retention and builds the reputation of the organisation in the region
Oversee the market segmentation in regards to nationality, industry sector and age group, specifying sources of future growth to target through priorities marketing, admissions and communications plans, external stakeholder engagement and leadership and investment
Lead the understanding of competitors in the local market, and what is appealing or not to the different segments
Take the regional lead responsibility for the identification, development and implementation of relevant projects and business ventures across the region and drive the strategy to grow the brand and market share
Skills and Experience:
Proven track record in achieving outcomes in the China market within an international business environment
Have the gravitas to play an ambassadorial role for the China International business across the region
Proactivity, energy and efficiency will be key to this role, as will be personal warmth, emotional intelligence and an ability to inspire confidence and respect
Demonstrable success in driving sales and marketing performance and managing sales teams, and have experience of strategic marketing and recruitment as well as prior knowledge of working with CRM systems
Significant leadership experience within a matrix environment and possess the ability to build credible and long term relationships with all stakeholders
Educated to degree level with more than ten years’ experience in a Sales/Marketing role with demonstrated success in growing/increasing sales in a competitive market
