Job Description

Salary: Circa £80,000 plus car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits

Would you like to work for a leading global technology business? Do you have a strong IT and Professional Services Procurement background?

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hands-on and strategic procurement role where you will have the opportunity to lead, develop and grow the EMEA procurement function.

You will provide procurement management expertise to selected business activity including managing the RFP process, managing contract implementation / transition, and post implementation supplier management, benefit tracking and reporting on contract compliance.

You will also lead on high level procurement projects, therefore procurement project management experience to manage projects through the entire procurement process is essential.

Projects will range in size from €1m - €200m and will cover all professional service spend areas such as Marketing, IT and Fleet. You should therefore have broad EMEA category exposure with a particular focus on IT.

You will manage a Procurement Specialist, therefore it is important that you have the ability to lead both strategically and in a hands on capacity. You will need strong communication skills to implement and communicate benefits at senior level both at Group level and within OpCos.

Detailed understanding of best practice procurement processes and ability to implement these processes across numerous functions

Skills and Experience:

• Multi-category Indirect procurement experience

• Proven experience of tracking benefits on project or procurement activity

• Proven experience of implementation of large projects

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work with minimum supervision

• Demonstrate strong influencing skills through change management on specific projects

• Ability to present to wide audiences including senior management

• Ability to supervise junior member(s) of the procurement team

• EMEA procurement experience
