Are you an experienced Buyer looking to work in a standalone role in Procurement? You have the opportunity to work for an independent hotel chain, you will purchase every day hotel and development supplies and will negotiate the best deals on utilities for the chain.
Reporting to the Director you will develop relationships and negotiate contracts with current and new suppliers of a range of materials such as food, cleaning, building materials, stationary and furniture. A separate part of your role will be to liaise with various utility companies and contain the usage for the multiple hotels in the chain.
You will arrange for storage and distribution of supplies, ensure all quality standards are met and regularly report to the board of Directors on targets and budgets.
As a successful Buyer you will have experience in the following:
• It is advantageous that candidates hold a degree in business administration/management.
• Excellent negotiation skills, purchasing, organisational and management skills.
• Previous experience in the hotel/hospitality industry.
• A strong career path to date with a proven track record in adding value to the procurement function.
